How do you announce something that a lot of people already know about? Yet we never got around to telling everyone about it…

We’re having a baby!

Lucy (well, the baby) is at 21-weeks and doing really well. Here is one of the scans from last week’s ultrasound session.

20-Week Scan

We’re happy not knowing the sex of the baby until he/she is due… so if anyone figures it out from the scans - keep it to yourself! ;-) (More of the scans can be found here.)

We’ll try to keep the site a bit more up-to-date about the pregnancy and the house-buying (which we’ll tell you about in another post).

flame on We all went to Clifton Down yesterday afternoon to watch the Bristol Balloon Fiesta. The kids loved it, especially when some of the balloons came in for a fast (crash) landing on the Down.

We took a few photos of the event, which you can see on our Flickr account.

We arrived back at Bristol airport safe and sound (and slightly delayed) late last night… Thanks to Lynsey, Kieran and Joshua for putting up with us for the past week - it was great to finally see you Josh.

We’ve got a few photos to upload from our break in Alicante/San Juan - they’ll be online later today.

This Sunday is the reunion of the Greek trip - so we’ll try to get a bit of a write-up done before then.

Busy, busy, busy!

Ooo, fancy that! I wanted to post this entry last week, but got sidetracked with other things. Well, now that the summer is here, so are the balls…

The weekend before last we went to the summer ball for St Francis’ Catholic Primary School (James’s school). We had a great time, especially with our comedy bow-ties! ;-)

All the photos can be seen here.

Next weekend, we’ve got the RAF Summer Ball at RAF Lyneham. It’s meant to be an all-nighter, with the party ending sometime around 6am… just hope we’ve got the stamina for it!

We’ll tell you all about our trip to Greece in our next post… but just wanted to share some photos we took yesterday in Woolton Bassett of the kids playing in the local park.

We’re very happy with our new toy! (Even if it did take us 5-months to get around to buying it!)

Tomorrow, we’re going on holiday! We’ll be joining Lucy’s Mum (Mary) and Aunty (Jane) on one of their “Journey through Ancient Greece” tours. I am told that this tour is different from their usual tours… We’ll be travelling down to the Southern Peloponnese to explore the medieval castles & churches. The full itinerary of the tour can be found here.

We bought a new camera last week, a Canon EOS 350D, which we are very excited about! Looking forward to take some nice scenic photos of ancient Greece!
