We’ll tell you all about our trip to Greece in our next post… but just wanted to share some photos we took yesterday in Woolton Bassett of the kids playing in the local park.

We’re very happy with our new toy! (Even if it did take us 5-months to get around to buying it!)

Tomorrow, we’re going on holiday! We’ll be joining Lucy’s Mum (Mary) and Aunty (Jane) on one of their “Journey through Ancient Greece” tours. I am told that this tour is different from their usual tours… We’ll be travelling down to the Southern Peloponnese to explore the medieval castles & churches. The full itinerary of the tour can be found here.

We bought a new camera last week, a Canon EOS 350D, which we are very excited about! Looking forward to take some nice scenic photos of ancient Greece!

Let’s give a warm welcome to little Joshua Squires! :-D

Kieran has posted more info over on their site.

There are more photos of Joshua here.

Congratulations to Lynsey & Kieran on your new addition to your family.

We just had to share this photo of Anita… She’s such a cheeky-chops!

Last Friday night, Lucy got some pizzas from Asda… Baby Anita couldn’t take her eyes off the garlic-bread - she absolutely loved it!

Davey wasn’t too impressed when Anita did a garlic-sick on him a bit later! :-P

I’ve never been to the Ashton Court Festival, I hear it’s good fun - so I’m hoping to go to this year’s one. Unfortunately, it’s currently lacking the funds to make it possible… so they are looking for donations.

A few of the supports have set-up their own website to rally up donations, suitably called We Love Ashton Court:

It might not happen because they need some money to pay bills for licencing, police etc. At the time of writing (14 April), people have been generously donating, but we still need to raise approximately 20,000 GBP to keep our festival alive, and we need to do this as soon as possible. This sounds like a lot, but if we share it out, we can sort it out.

I’ve added a link button (to the donation page) in the sidebar (on the right).

Easter camp wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. After I discovered that the Gordon Brown Centre wasn’t named after our current Chancellor of the Exchequer - I felt more relaxed. We had great weather over the weekend, although the first night in the tent was not very pleasant… I can’t begin to describe how cold it was!

We didn’t take any photos over the weekend…. For some reason we were far too busy eating and sleeping to do that!

We’ve decided to call the vote for the naming of our Parrot letter opener. It was a straight tie-draw between Holly and Edward, both with 3 votes each. BUT, none of that matters, as Lucy’s Granddad has vetoed the naming, (since it was a present from him). So the Parrot is hereby named Jacko!.
