I would usually apologise for not posting recently, but I’m not. I’m a bit disappointed by the lack of “interaction” from our friends and family (especially since it’s been noted that some complain that we never update).
I returned from my latest Liverpool visit last Friday night. Steve told me that he had a surprise for me… A pair of Wellies! I was ecstatic! I’ve been wanting a pair since we moved to the farm - I’d already ruined a pair of trainers from walking through muddy fields!
Next weekend, Lucy is dragging me along to an Easter camp. I wouldn’t mind, but it’s at place called the “Gordon Brown Centre” - jeez! (Note to self: Don’t mention the pensions!)
No sooner as we got back to Bristol, I was on the next train up to Liverpool for business. I’d recently started-up a company with Dan - and our first project was about to commence. Since then, we’ve been working non-stop on the project - Dan calls it a “coding-marathon“; I called it a “code-massacre!”
Got back to Bristol earlier this week… settling back into west-country life - as Steve had us taking part in a Cattle Run - where they had to herd 19 cows between two fields (4 miles apart). Luckily we didn’t get covered in much cow-shit!
Meanwhile, we were still waiting on you lot to think of a name for our Parrot Letter Opener - only Emily (and Thomas) made a new suggestion. So now the nominations are closed and the votes can begin!
We’re heading across to Alicante mid-week… Lynsey & Kieran are kindly putting us up! (or is that putting up with us?)
Next weekend is the annual Alicante Carnival celebrations, (you might remember the shenangans that we got up to last year?!). We are going to be different this year and go in fancy-dress too! … and we definitely will not be going to KFC at the end of the night!!!
Kieran has just posted a photo of Lynsey (with Bump) over at their website.
We can’t wait to get over there! (It’s too bloomin’ cold in England!).
This is the letter-opener that I’ve been telling you all about!
We bought this little fella at an antiques fair a couple of weeks ago with the Christmas money Lucy’s granddad gave us (Thanks Michael). It’s around 90 years-old!
The lady who sold it, told us that we need to name him…
So if you’ve got any suggestions, please leave a comment!
